Boyd K. Packer was born September 10, 1924. He is the president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has been an apostle since 1970. He was born in Brigham City, Utah. He has a master's degree from Utah State University. He wrote the book
The Holy Temple. He served as a president of the New England Mission.
